Spring 2018~ Highlights from the Art Cart

A lot of cool things happened this spring into summer. First we finished up out Around the World unit and created a group Alphabet Book with different art forms from around the world. We collaborated with the OT, Speech and APE departments to have Garden Day where kids were able to make bird feeders from milk cartons and learn how to plant some different things. Then we had our Art Show which was a huge hit! We created a large display based on the book "The Dot" by Peter Reynolds and we were able to show off our cool Art Around the World projects. The art show took place at the same time as our book fair, so students and their parents were able to look at all the artwork while they shopped for new books. It was a very successful school year!
