Open House!
Last Thursday was my first Open House as the art teacher at Pathways and although I worked late hours and skipped my lunches to make displays of all the work we have been making, I was really happy with the results. I really wanted to hang the work up with descriptions to give everything a context and I also decided that if bulletin-board making could be a profession, I would definitely be interested! In addition to the displays with the fantastic work by the students, we also had raffles, pizza, an ice cream truck, games and music in the classrooms and even a baby calf!
